What You'll DoIn this position, you'll:
- Develop robust software solutions using C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers on projects involving computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- Help translate research, algorithms, and prototypes into reliable software for real-world applications.
- Contribute to projects in areas such as 3D reconstruction, object detection, image manipulation detection, motion pattern learning, and anomaly detection.
- Develop software for Linux, macOS, and/or Windows environments.
- Depending on your projects, interact directly with customers, visit customer sites, and participate in live field tests and demonstrations.
- Have opportunities to contribute to and maintain open source software, including platforms such as VIAME and TeleSculptor.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with relevant project experience outside of an academic setting and/or a master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant subject area.
- Strong programming skills with experience using both C++ and Python.
- Knowledge of software development processes and environments, including tools such as Visual Studio, gcc, clang, make, CMake, or CDash.
- Ability to develop software for Linux, macOS, and/or Windows operating systems.
- Due to contractual requirements, only U.S. citizens will be considered for this position.
- If not already cleared, willingness and ability to apply for and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience using GitHub or GitLab for code reviews, documentation, and release management.
- Ability to learn core Amazon Web Services (AWS) technologies such as EC2, EBS volumes, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Ability to learn DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, and Packer.
- Interest and experience in open source software development.
- An active government security clearance of TS or higher.
$85,000 - $125,000 a year
