DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop Software Applications and services that are common to all teams in Wholesale Payment Technology. Develop Software Applications using modern tools, techniques, and methods. Perform requirement analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of high-volume payment applications. Modify software to fix errors, improve its performance and upgrade interfaces and support existing applications. Perform system testing and documentation. Coordinate with product management and business partners following agile methodology to perform all the tasks from requirements analysis to deployment. Perform end to end testing, Integration testing, UAT testing and Penetration Testing of applications. Create and maintain tools for supporting the application.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Developer, Data Scientist or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Developer, Data Scientist or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Spring Boot and building REST applications including handlers, hibernate, spring dependency injection and java provided dependency injection (JSR-299) and API endpoint security; Spring MVC to build UI applications; Spring Data and Spring JDBC to connect to various data sources; Spring Security; Junit and Mockito for unit testing applications; Implementing Microservice architecture; Using Rabbit MQ as the messaging middleware; Developing UI application using HTML, CSS, and Angular; Using JavaScript; Azure cloud services & Functions to build and deploy applications on public cloud; Using AWS, Lambda Serverless, EC2 and S3 to build and deploy applications on public cloud; Identifying and Access Management, Key Management Service, Cloud Watch, Auto Scaling and Security groups for securing and scaling cloud applications; implementing concepts of SQS and Kinesis in AWS cloud application; Performing exploratory data analysis using Python and R for evaluating and building Machine Learning models; Java concepts including multithreading, generic classes, API and use of design patterns in solutions; Java 8 and Java 11 concepts including streams, functional interfaces and lambda expressions; Configuring web application to be deployable in Tomcat including Docker containerization; Working in Maven, Git and Jenkins to maintain build and deploy code pipelines; and Perform data manipulation, data structuring, data design flow and query optimization in RDS and DynamoDB.
