Full Job Description
In this role, you will step into a mission-critical position supporting federal cyber incident response. We're looking for someone who thrives in high-impact environments - a cleared software engineer who can design, build, and troubleshoot modern applications that directly enable onsite teams responding to cyber-attacks against civilian Government agencies and critical infrastructure.

In this role, you will develop and integrate software that helps investigators assess breaches, determine severity, create mitigation plans, and support the restoration of essential services. Success here requires strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS services, RESTful architectures, containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and secure development practices.

You should be comfortable working onsite with federal stakeholders, collaborating across both remote and physical teams, and engaging directly with customers during technical discussions or demonstrations. Your ability to translate operational requirements into reliable, high-quality software solutions is central to the mission.
Required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical degree; or a high school diploma and at least four (4+) years of directly relevant experience.
  • Must have two (2+) years of software engineering experience, including secure code development, full lifecycle practices, version control, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Must have experience evaluating, integrating, and testing COTS products, as well as installing, demonstrating, validating, and assessing new and existing software tools and technologies.
  • Must have application and API development experience, with a strong knowledge of modern application development and RESTful architectures, including designing, developing, integrating, and interfacing with RESTful APIs.
  • Must have experience developing containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Must have strong communication skills with direct customer-facing experience in project or technical demonstration environments. Ability to work effectively across both remote and onsite teams.
Preferred
  • Experience developing software solutions that enable onsite teams to respond to cyber-attacks
  • (ISC)² Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
  • CompTIA Security+ (Sec+)
