Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives, including AI-enabled and intelligent automation capabilities that improve efficiency, reliability, and decision-making..

Job responsibilities:
  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-quality production code using modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python), following SDLC and enterprise engineering standards.
  • Build and maintain microservices and API-driven architectures, developing and integrating RESTful APIs, and supporting event-driven or real-time use cases where appropriate.
  • Produce and review architecture and design artifacts for complex systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and non-functional requirements (security, performance, resiliency, scalability).
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable production code; actively participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex technical issues across development, test, and production environments.
  • Support platform stability through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous optimization.
  • Implement operational best practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Develop and integrate AI-assisted workflows and automations within enterprise platforms (including Monday.com), ensuring reliability, governance, observability, and secure usage.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Formal training or certification on system design concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Full stack ReactJS, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python and AWS
  • Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment (e.g., for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation) with demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices.
  • Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms, particularly Monday.com or similar workflow/project management tools.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development, covering both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS cloud environments.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
  • Experience implementing automation or AI assisted features within production software platforms or workflows.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • SCIM integration for Enterprise application access management
  • Experience with Databricks integration for cloud applications
  • Experience supporting or integrating SaaS platforms, particularly Monday.com or similar workflow/project management tools.
  • Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing) and production engineering practices.
  • Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms and enterprise workflow automation.
  • Experience working in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and operate applications in AWS, leveraging services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, and container platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI enabled workflow features, intelligent automation, or GenAI assisted capabilities in enterprise environments.
