Job Description
The Software Engineer II is an early- to mid-career contributor that has a combination of formal education and experience in the software engineering field. They are responsible for the research, design, development, analysis, testing, and implementation of software operating or application systems. They communicate project information to client, project manager, or other design personnel working on projects. They maintain good working relationships with clients and staff. They write and maintain complete documentation. They support team members and ensure established goals and deadlines are met. They keep management informed of status and significant problems.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular, Flutter, Java, and Python
- Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences for both web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with senior engineers on scalable application architecture and technical design decisions
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across platforms
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver new features and enhancements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and operational excellence
- Contribute to an Agile engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Experience developing mobile applications using Flutter and Dart
- Backend development experience with Java and Python
- Understanding of full-stack application architecture and API integration
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, Flask, or Django
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments

This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year). Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed. Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements.
