Job Description
Cintas is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, enhance, and support software applications that drive business success. This role partners with business and technical teams to deliver quality solutions, support application performance, and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple technical environments.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to evaluate requirements, estimate effort, and develop technical solutions.
• Design, develop, document, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and modules.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements, best practices, and innovative solutions.
• Ensure application quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to architectural standards.
• Provide Tier II application support, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective resolutions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and communicate project status effectively to business partners and leadership.
Skills/Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience developing and maintaining software applications.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time for this role.
• Must be willing to work onsite in the Mason, Ohio office 5 days per week.
Preferred:
• Experience working across multiple technical environments and business functions.
• Experience providing technical coaching or mentoring to other developers.
