What You'll Do
  • Build and enhance the Mobile App Quality Platform that supports mobile test automation, quality gates, build pipelines, and release workflows
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Java and Appium
  • Implement platform features that improve mobile build validation, test execution, reporting, and release readiness
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines for mobile app builds, test automation, and release processes using Jenkins or equivalent tooling
  • Collaborate with iOS and Android engineers to integrate automated quality gates into the mobile release process
  • Write clean, readable, well-tested code following established patterns and best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions, incorporating feedback to improve solutions
  • Help identify and troubleshoot automation, build, pipeline, and release issues across mobile platforms
  • Write and update documentation for platform behavior, automation workflows, pipeline usage, and release processes
  • Take ownership of assigned stories and deliverables, communicating progress and risks clearly


What You'll Need
  • Professional experience developing software using Java
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience with mobile app test automation using Appium
  • Experience building, maintaining, or integrating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools
  • Mobile app development experience with iOS and/or Android, including an understanding of mobile build and release processes
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks or quality engineering platforms
  • Familiarity with mobile application architecture, app lifecycle, debugging, and platform-specific constraints
  • Experience working with build systems, test execution workflows, and automated validation processes
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with mobile engineers, quality engineers, and release partners • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing mobile applications using Kotlin and/or Swift
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Experience with mobile app build processes, signing, versioning, release candidates, and app store release workflows
  • Experience supporting release engineering workflows for iOS and Android applications
  • Experience improving automated test reliability, execution speed, reporting, and failure diagnostics
  • Understanding of Agile development practices
  • Exposure to monitoring, observability, or reporting tools used to track automation, pipeline, or release health
  • Experience building internal developer platforms, tools, or frameworks that improve engineering productivity
  • Experience with AI-assisted application development or AI-powered engineering workflows • GitHub Spec Kit experience is an added advantage


The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $190,000.00.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
