Full Stack Developer for QzTrades - Trade Standardization and Enrichments, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting critical trade processing and enrichment services. The role will contribute to key regulatory, risk management, and trade onboarding initiatives, including FRR Data Classifications, MasterDeals, Intraday Indicatives for Credit Risk, and the onboarding of Unsettled Cash Equities into Subledgers. The position will build scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications using modern full-stack technologies and will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver solutions that enhance trade standardization, regulatory reporting, risk analytics, and operational efficiency across the platform.
Responsibilities:- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Design, develop, test, and maintain QzTrades services supporting trade standardization and enrichment workflows.
- Deliver critical regulatory functionality for GRR-US and Risk initiatives.
- Develop scalable backend services using Python and object-oriented design principles.
- Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using ReactJS.
- Design and optimize MongoDB data models, queries, and indexing strategies to support high-volume trade processing.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, production support, and release activities to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Drive continuous improvements in application reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
- Contribute to system design discussions and help implement best practices across the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in programming language(s) required for the role
- Strong hands-on experience in Python application development.
- Experience building modern web applications using ReactJS.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices.
- Experience designing and developing applications using MongoDB.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and SDLC methodologies.
Desired Qualifications:- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
- Knowledge of HDFS and distributed data processing platforms.
- Familiarity with large-scale data engineering and analytics environments.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting or capital markets platforms is a plus.
- Experience with financial instruments and capital markets products is a plus

Pay range
$88,800.00 - $144,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
