- Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Software development using Python, C, C , Java, or JavaScript; Design algorithms to improve system scale and efficiency; Diagnose and triage system issues using root cause analysis; Extract relevant information from code in core languages; and Perform validity, verification, and performance testing.

Position reports to the Google Mountain View, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.
Responsibilities- Develop product or system code for assigned sub-tasks and address scoped technical debt to enhance code health.
- Collaborate with stakeholders via code reviews to ensure best practices regarding accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
- Execute comprehensive testing and improve monitoring infrastructure to support long-term system maintainability and scalability.
- Triage and resolve system issues by analyzing root causes and their impact on hardware and service operations.
- Maintain technical documentation and educational content by adapting materials based on product updates and user feedback. Apply foundational Generative AI concepts to assist in the implementation of basic multi-modal solutions.
