Job Description:

SOFTWARE ENGINEER
As a Software Engineer, the work you'll do will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in collaborating with systems and software engineers to design, develop, install, deploy, operate, test, and manage a large scale, enterprise application.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation. The Software Engineer must have:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional developer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 15+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: A strong DevOps background will be needed to maintain and integrate with existing Ansible playbooks used for configuration management. The ideal candidate should also possess strong SQL skills.
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/ Poly
• US citizenship required
• Role requirements: Candidates must have experience with:
  • Java Spring Boot
  • Angular 19+
  • Ansible
  • Docker
  • Git
  • Unit testing of front-end and back-end applications
  • Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana (ELK)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly 1 week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the team is paged for after-hours support approximately once every couple of months with most issues resolvable by phone.

The likely salary range for this position is $195,500 - $264,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
