Full Job Description
Full Stack Software Engineer to support a mission-critical GEOINT enterprise application program. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. The program operates under DevSecOps and Agile methodologies and focuses on sustainment and evolution of a large-scale enterprise system that enables users to submit, search, discover, and retrieve geospatial intelligence data across a broad network of suppliers. As a member of an Agile scrum team, the selected individual will contribute to software development activities across the full development lifecycle in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

The selected individual will plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities within an Agile scrum team, designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software that addresses complex mission and business problems. The role involves applying appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development lifecycle; leveraging knowledge of computer hardware, software, and information processing techniques to develop solutions based on system user requirements; correcting program errors; compiling program development documentation; and analyzing system capabilities to resolve questions related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Java software development, including writing, modifying, and troubleshooting Java code
  • Troubleshooting and navigating multiple operating system environments (Linux and/or Windows)
  • Agile software development methodologies and participation in Agile scrum teams

Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Large-scale software integration pipeline concepts leveraging Docker, Chef, Git, JIRA, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Conductor, Kafka/Zookeeper, Consul, and/or CMDB
  • COTS/FOSS integration and support
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and associated tools such as VersionOne and Jira
  • Cloud infrastructure design or administration
  • DevSecOps tooling and practices (e.g., Docker, Git, DevSecOps pipelines, GitOps)
  • Front-end and/or back-end development technologies (e.g., CSS, XML, Tailwind, Python, microservices, automated testing)
  • Big data technologies including data ingest, analytics, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, GitOps pipelines, Kinetica, and COTS integration
  • Database and SQL development using Oracle DBMS, PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, MongoDB, and/or MySQL RDS
  • AI and/or Machine Learning technologies
  • Drools rules engine

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
