Job Description
You will be the Software Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team. Our team is responsible for designing, developing, and manufacturing precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.
As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. You will be helping us solve the world's most difficult challenges supporting such wide-ranging domain areas such as aircraft flight command and control, air traffic control, health care, and homeland defense. What You Will Be Doing
As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
-Develop Embedded Software
-Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
-Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
-Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
-Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
-Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
-Perform Control Account Management and Earned Value management and provide SW subcontract management oversight

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field
Must have an active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.
Experience working with real time embedded systems.
Knowledge and Experience with Embedded Linux
C++
Experience deploying, debugging, and Integrating Embedded Software on Hardware
Desired skills
Experience in software engineering and software development
Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate to leadership effectively.
Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.
Experience designing ground system embedded software.
Experience with GitLab CI/CD
Software integration and verification experience
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $113,900 - $200,905. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $131,000 - $227,125. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
