Job DescriptionThe selected
Software Engineer will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role involves developing software products to support the design and development of GWS on behalf of a defense agency.
The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative teams of all experience levels.
Note: This position is not offered as teleworking or hybrid.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university and a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
- Experience programming with C++
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%
- Active U.S. Government DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
Desired Skills:- Experience with simulation and simulation frameworks
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket
- Experience with Unit Test and System Test Development
- Familiarity with the System Engineering Lifecycle
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Security Clearance:This position requires a government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
