Software Engineer will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role involves developing software products that directly support the design and development of GWS capabilities on behalf of a defense agency.
The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative teams of all experience levels.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 2+ years of related engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with MATLAB
- Ability to read C++ or ADA language
- Active Final Secret clearance
Desired Skills:- Demonstrated experience with code translations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Experience with the As-Built SPIDER model
- Analysis using Python
- Experience with Monte Carlo simulations
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
