Software Engineer will support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as an individual contributor on the SPA team. This role is responsible for developing data analysis products that directly support the design and development of GWS capability on behalf of a defense agency.
The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative teams of all experience levels.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience with Python
- Ability to perform software root cause analysis
- Experience with Bitbucket
- Active U.S. Government DoD Final Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:- Experience with object-oriented programming languages
- Requirements decomposition and testing experience
- Experience with Test Objectives in Missile Defense
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think critically and capture concepts in work products, presentations, and discussions
- Willingness to assume a technical leadership role if required
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
