Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience in avionics
• Experience in software applications for avionics displays
• Full lifecycle software development experience per DO-178B/C standards
• Proficiency in software architecture design
• Strong C++ coding skills
• Experience creating test cases from system/software requirements
• Knowledge of safety-critical real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Understanding of software configuration and change management practices
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and proactive in problem-solving
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Experience working with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop avionics display applications for the Next Generation Avionics Platform
• Integrate and verify core display systems
• Design software architectures for avionics applications
• Create and implement software test cases based on requirements
• Coordinate effectively with cross-functional design teams
• Ensure compliance with aviation software standards (DO-178B/C)
• Participate in full software development lifecycle processes
