Standard Job DescriptionThe WorkLockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a Software Developer. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience with Linux, C++ or Java, a keen ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and excel in software development on an agile team.
This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 1+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in C++ or Java programming language.
- Proficiency with Linux Operating Systems
- Experience with BASH or Python scripting
- Desire to integrate, test, and troubleshoot software systems.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Desired Skills- Experience with C++ multithreaded programming
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Podman or Docker or Kubernetes
- Experience or desire to work within an Agile Team as a Scrum Master
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $75400.00 - $140000.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
