The Partner Test Tech team is responsible for ensuring a high-quality Netflix experience on smart TVs and set-top devices.  We achieve this by building and maintaining device automation and infrastructure. We measure our effectiveness by leveraging real-time metrics and alerts to gain insight.

  • You are a quality-minded Software Engineer and drive testing strategies

  • You have experience working with consumer electronic devices

  • You have strong coding skills in JavaScript / TypeScript or Python and experience with automation frameworks

What you will do
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing software releases

  • Improve the developer experience and change-velocity in JavaScript repositories. 

  • Drive the shape of the testing pyramid along with efficient coding patterns in test automation

  • Drive diversity and stability across a fleet of in-house CE devices using data-driven approaches to ensure the efficient use of devices

  • Gather and analyze metrics in collaboration with internal teams to identify trends and opportunities to improve the testing effort at a lower cost

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $558,000.00.
