Job Title: Software Engineer 2

Job SummaryWe are seeking three experienced Software Engineer 2 professionals to develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with C# .NET, Blazor, SQL Server, Oracle, and modern web technologies, along with expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, debug, and document complex web-based and client/server applications.
- Develop front-end and back-end solutions using C#, .NET, Blazor, HTML5, CSS, SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and Stored Procedures.
- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with business users, system analysts, and architects to design effective technical solutions.
- Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using Visual Studio, .NET Core 9.0, and DevExpress.
- Implement secure payment processing functionality within mobile applications.
- Research, design, and enhance existing software applications.
- Support application maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including planning, development, testing, and demonstrations.
- Present application enhancements and software changes to stakeholders for review and approval.
- Recommend process improvements for software development projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of experience developing web-based software applications.
- 4+ years of experience performing root cause analysis and issue resolution.
- 4+ years of programming experience with technologies including:
- C#
- .NET
- ASP
- Java
- JSP
- HTML/HTML5
- SQL
- Stored Procedures
- Front-end and back-end development technologies
- 4+ years of experience with:
- .NET/C#
- JavaScript
- HTML
- CSS
- SQL
- Oracle
- SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience working in an Agile SDLC environment.
- 3+ years of experience working within software development teams performing SDLC activities.
- 3+ years of experience collaborating with technical teams and business users for requirements gathering, software development, maintenance, and enhancements.
- 3+ years of experience presenting software demonstrations to stakeholders.
- 2+ years of experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.
- 1+ year of experience developing applications using C# .NET Blazor.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience migrating existing Java or Windows Forms applications to C# .NET Blazor.
- Experience implementing responsive web design.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and accessibility implementation.
- Previous experience supporting similar state government enterprise applications.
