About the Team & RoleAs a Software Development Manager, you'll lead and support our engineering teams. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management. You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to build systems that are foundational to our product. We're looking for someone who thrives in a high-ownership environment and is excited to grow both individuals and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, supporting their technical and professional growth
- Partner with stakeholders to shape the roadmap, influence prioritization, and bring ideas to life
- Guide architectural decisions, code quality, and engineering standards to ensure scalable, maintainable systems
- Cultivate a strong engineering culture grounded in curiosity, humility, and continuous learning
- Identify and remove blockers, both technical and organizational, to keep the team focused and productive
- Recruit and onboard top engineering talent as we continue to grow
Qualifications- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a formal management role
- Experience leading teams in agile environments and shipping production-ready code, fast
- Strong technical background-you've architected and scaled modern applications or infrastructure
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern development practices (CI/CD, observability, testing frameworks)
- Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration skills-you align teams and build trust
- Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing engineers
