A day in the life
You will operate with a high degree of independence on a roadmap-driven team. Some weeks you will be heads-down writing and testing code for a new integration; other weeks you will pair with product managers or partner engineers to prototype a solution and align on requirements. You will regularly review teammates' designs and code, sharing your perspective to raise the quality bar. When operational issues arise, you will dig into metrics and logs to find permanent fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
