Responsibilities

About The Role:

As a Software Development Engineer I with a primary focus on Next.js (React) on the front end and C#/.NET on the backend, you will contribute to building modern web applications deployed in Azure. You'll work as part of an Agile Scrum team, collaborating across engineering, product, and UX to deliver performant, secure, and high quality software. This role is ideal for early career engineers interested in growing into a skilled fullstack developer in a cloud forward environment.

Front End (Next.js + React)

  • Build responsive user interfaces using Next.js, including the App Router, Server Components, and framework native routing.


  • Implement SSR, SSG, and ISR patterns to optimize performance and user experience.


  • Use TypeScript, component driven development, and modern CSS frameworks.


  • Ensure accessibility and high quality UX across devices.


Backend (C#/.NET APIs)

  • Develop and maintain backend services using C# and .NET.


  • Integrate the front end with RESTful APIs you and your team build.


  • Contribute to backend logic, data access, and service layer implementations.


  • Follow secure coding practices and API versioning standards.


Cloud & Azure Integration

  • Build and deploy applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).


  • Participate in cloud modernization initiatives, including service decomposition and migration.


  • Use CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, and deployment processes.


Engineering Excellence

  • Participate in code reviews, peer learning, and all Agile ceremonies.


  • Contribute to test automation (unit, integration, and component tests).


  • Collaborate across domains to troubleshoot issues with a production-first mindset.


What Makes You A Dream Candidate?

  • Experience with React and Next.js fundamentals (components, hooks, routing).


  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.


  • Foundational experience developing C#/.NET backend APIs.


  • Understanding of RESTful API design and JSON.


  • Exposure to relational databases such as SQL Server.


  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD concepts, and Agile Scrum practices.


  • Hands on experience with the Next.js App Router and React Server Components.


  • Experience contributing to C#/.NET Web APIs in production environments.


  • Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Service Bus, API Management, and Azure SQL.


  • Experience with automated UI and API testing.


  • Familiarity with cloud native principles, observability, and security best practices.
