Do you enjoy working on distributed systems and solving problems of consistency, durability, and availability? Are you interested in building a large-scale distributed system that runs on several thousands of nodes and can be resilient in different situations like infrastructure failures, network partitions, etc. to provide a seamless customer experience?
If so then come join AWS Lambda, Durable Functions team! Lambda durable functions launched at re:Invent 2025 in the CEO keynote. We simplify how developers build fault-tolerant applications and AI workflows using familiar programming languages, extending Lambda's event-driven programming model with automatic checkpointing, failure recovery, and cost-efficient wait/suspend operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
