We are building Genesis Runtime, AWS's managed service for deploying, running, and scaling AI agents in production environments. You will design, implement, test, document, and support this enterprise-grade platform that enables customers to transform local agent prototypes into production-ready deployments in hours rather than months.
As a key member of our team, you'll develop critical components of our multi-modal infrastructure that supports real-time interactions with fast cold starts (200ms) and long-running asynchronous agents (up to 8 hours). You'll build systems that automatically scale from zero to hundreds of concurrent sessions without capacity planning, while ensuring enterprise-grade security through isolated execution
environments, identity propagation, and configurable guardrails.
You'll serve as a technical lead on complex projects implementing session and state management across frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, and LlamaIndex. Your work will enable bi-directional streaming for text, images, audio, and video with unrestricted payload sizes, while maintaining strict security boundaries between user sessions. You'll collaborate with customers to understand their agent deployment challenges and translate those requirements into robust, scalable solutions that work seamlessly with any foundation model.
