Qualifications

• 5-7 years of strong software development experience, primarily in Java.
• Significant background in data analysis, parsing, and SQL database operations.
• Proficient in the full data lifecycle within Big Data environments, from ingestion to display.
• Experience in developing and executing ETL processes across Linux or Cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Java technologies such as JDK, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, Spring, and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data ingest systems for Big Data applications.
• Optimize every phase of the data lifecycle, from planning to display and utilization.
• Create solutions for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading.
• Develop custom code to integrate and leverage both new and existing data sources.
• Build and apply data profiling, deduplication, and matching logic for analytical purposes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for the data layer, ensuring accessibility for others.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and enhance data processing methods.
• Communicate potential risks and limitations related to software solutions based on the operational environment.
