Description

REQUIRED: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
LOCATION: Full-time onsite in Chantilly, VA

We are seeking a Software Developer who will be a technical lead guiding a high-visibility development effort and serve as a trusted expert. In this role, you'll champion modern engineering standards, and accessibility-aligned agile delivery while shaping the transformation of complex web-based applications, systems, and service components. You'll bring hands-on strength in Java development, cloud technologies, and AWS environment engineering.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you are an integral part of what brings our Company's mission to life. You must have the following required skills, certifications and demonstrated experience in and/or with:
  • Working as a lead on a team providing technical expertise and communications to the Sponsor.
  • Implementing industry best practices and associated technical solutions consistent with accessibility standards and agile methodology.
  • Proposing recommendations that provide business value while supporting goals and objectives, with an emphasis on improving User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI), reducing O&M, increasing quality and speed of delivery, transforming, and modernizing web-based application, system, and service components.
  • Developing, maintaining, analyzing and documenting web-based application, system, and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.
  • Java development
  • Working with cloud technologies.
  • Developing and maintaining AWS environments and service components and associated interfaces, including those with databases and web services/APIs to assist in decision-making regarding future development.
  • Working with COTS products including ServiceNow
  • Working through a full accreditation lifecycle.
  • Managing Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support, using service management systems.
  • Developing IT support documents that include SOPs, digital IT workflows, IT knowledge base, pre and post deployment checklists, IT architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
  • Developing and maintaining enterprise software, to include license renewals (where applicable), patching, and version update administration.
