Full Job Description
Location: Remote - This position may be performed remotely in states where the company is authorized to employ individuals.

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $104,800 - $131,000, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate's tenure in the position of $104,800 - $157,200. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

The Software Developer Senior Specialist designs, codes, tests, and maintains software applications that meet business requirements and improve operational efficiency. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions using modern development practices.

  • Software development & deployment: Develop, test, and deploy software applications based on business and technical requirements, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows established best practices and coding standards.
  • Cross-functional project delivery: Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and QA teams to support successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshooting & performance improvement: Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues to improve application stability and efficiency.
  • Code quality & continuous improvement: Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle.
  • Technical documentation & innovation: Maintain documentation for software design, architecture, and processes; stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Security & regulatory compliance: Ensure all development activities comply with applicable security and regulatory standards.

The salary range above represents the national range for this position. The salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at OnTrac, and the actual base salary offered may vary depending on several factors including, but not limited to: Geographic location, candidate experience and qualifications, job-related skills and competencies, market alignment, and financial considerations.
