Ossid is searching for top candidates for our Software Developer/Engineer position located in North Carolina.
We're looking for a Software Developer with 2-4 years of professional experience to join our team and help build reliable, scalable applications that support our growing business. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, contribute to new feature design, integrate with APIs, and help maintain and improve existing systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET and C#
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs, including authentication, data exchange, and integration with third-party services
• Optimize and maintain SQL database structures, queries, and stored procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Required Qualifications
• 2-4 years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong proficiency in .NET (Core or Framework) and C#
• Solid understanding of SQL databases (SQL Server or similar)
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs
Preferred Skills
• Experience with PLC programming or industrial automation systems
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including API gateways or serverless API endpoints
• Experience with web-based development
• Experience with WPF, WinForms, and MVVM architectural patterns
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of networking fundamentals or industrial communication protocols
