The Work
The Software Configuration Management (SCM) team supports our media prep function on the Joint Strike Fighter Training & Logistics program. The team's mission is to maintain the integrity and traceability of the software released by the program to its customers.
As a member of the Software Configuration team you will:
• Track and install software on training devices
• Maintain database of program software and data
• Assign unique identifiers to software and data used by training devices
• Perform software installations on training devices
• Support routine engineering reviews and configuration audits
• Review changes to software baseline to ensure compliance with configuration management policies
• Ensure that data and physical media have all appropriate labels and markings
• Disseminate data to the program and government customers
Note: This position requires on-site presence in the Orlando office to meet client needs. Seeking individuals with the ability to intermittently flex work hours to support program schedules.
You're the key figure in managing hardware/software tracking, leading engineering efforts, ensuring compliance, resolving issues, and supporting project activities.
This position will require the selected candidate to have or obtain an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting with Lockheed Martin. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
A level 2 employee is typically an early career engineer with 2 or more years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of professional experience
• Experience using analytical skills to follow and understand relationships of hardware and software systems
• Experience analyzing data and workflow processes
• Experience with software tools and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
US Citizenship Required.
Desired skills
• Experience with Software Configuration Management in the Defense Industry
• Experience with software development and design
• Experience in software artifact storage systems such as Nexus or Artifactory
• Demonstrated skills to solve problems and implement constructive change
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $77,000 - $133,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
