Full Job Description
Director of Resident and Family Services (MSW) - a compassionate and knowledgeable leader who supports residents and families through the emotional and psychosocial aspects of aging and dementia.

You're a social worker with a heart for service and a deep understanding of memory care. You thrive in emotionally complex situations, advocate for residents and families, and collaborate across departments to enhance quality of life.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support residents and families in understanding and coping with the psychosocial challenges of aging and dementia
  • Promote the community to civic and memory impairment-related groups, reflecting Silverado's mission and quality of care
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations of team members under your supervision
  • Maintain continuing education through academic studies, seminars, and workshops
  • Participate in in-services, staff meetings, and case conferences
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with older adults
  • Experience supporting individuals with memory impairment and their families highly desirable
  • Professional or volunteer experience with memory impairment organizations helpful
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Reliable transportation to meet attendance and outreach needs
  • Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Comfortable working in an environment with animals and pets
  • May be required to work outside of regular hours depending on business needs

Anticipated pay range

$85,000-$95,000 USD
