Full Job Description
Children learn best when they are surrounded by love, belief, and unwavering commitment. At Equality Charter High School, this truth has guided every decision we make for our students and families.

In 2014, Equality Charter School expanded from a grades 6 to 8 middle school to opening a high school in order to continue guiding our students through graduation and beyond. We knew that our students stood out because of the intentional investment, high expectations, and deep care they experienced at Equality, and we were determined to ensure that no student slipped through the cracks during such a critical stage of their development.

At Equality Charter High School, we measure success not only by what happens within our walls, but by what our students do after they graduate. Our goal is to build independence while scholars are with us so that they can truly fly when they leave. This commitment means we ask a great deal of all of our staff, not just teachers.

We believe in a true wraparound culture where every student is enveloped in love, held to high expectations, and empowered to take ownership of their future. Teachers must be highly qualified, reflective, and excited to teach. Culture and student support staff must be equally passionate about restorative practices, relationship building, and whole child development.

Together, we work to build up our students and pour back into our Bronx community. We seek staff members who share this belief and who are ready to show up fully, do the work, and stand beside our students every step of the way. If this sounds right to you, join us!
