Role descriptionLead the end-to-end architectural strategy and design for migrating client's Sailfish platform to a modern Snowflake Lakehouse architecture. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performance data infrastructure aligned with enterprise goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and govern the target state architecture for cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
- Architect the migration of on-prem Sailfish workloads to Snowflake Lakehouse using Snowpipe and Iceberg table formats.
- Design and oversee the implementation of medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured data processing.
- Integrate Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, DirectQuery, Mirroring) for real-time analytics and reporting.
- Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks across Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to align architecture with analytics and operational needs.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years in solution architecture with focus on cloud and big data platforms.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake, Azure Event Hubs, and Iceberg.
- Proven experience in large-scale data platform migrations and hybrid cloud strategies.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in healthcare or regulated industries.
Location: - Remote ( Willing to travel to client locations as needed)
Education: -Engineering Degree - BE / ME / BTech / M Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc.
