Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SME Management Lead with 2+ years of experience supporting program development and deliverables, along with experience leading or coordinating SMEs, stakeholders, workstreams, or cross-functional teams in a project or consulting environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication, facilitation, meeting management, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills. The candidate should be comfortable managing ambiguity, competing priorities, siloed information, and conflicting stakeholder perspectives while maintaining forward progress.
Required Skills
• 2+ years of experience supporting program development and deliverables
• 2+ years of experience leading or coordinating SMEs, stakeholders, workstreams, or cross-functional teams
• Experience working in a project or consulting environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong facilitation and meeting management skills
• Ability to prepare agendas and document meeting outcomes
• Experience tracking follow-up actions and decisions
• Ability to synthesize research, technical findings, experiments, or analytical outputs into clear materials
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical and domain-expert audiences
• Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
Preferred Skills
• Prior experience engaging academic, clinical, policy, actuarial, healthcare, or other specialized SMEs
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, ACO, or ACA operations
• Knowledge of risk adjustment
• Strong communication, facilitation, and meeting management experience
• Experience preparing meeting agendas and documenting outcomes
• Experience tracking follow-up actions, decisions, risks, and dependencies
• Ability to reconcile conflicting stakeholder perspectives and drive alignment
Key Responsibilities
• Lead recurring SME meetings, including agenda development, facilitation, time management, decision tracking, and follow-up coordination
• Prepare meeting agendas and discussion materials
• Capture clear meeting notes, action items, decisions, risks, open questions, and dependencies
• Coordinate follow-ups across internal teams, clients, and SME stakeholders
• Translate experiments, prototypes, analyses, and internal technical findings into SME-ready summaries
• Develop discussion materials, decision logs, and presentations
• Coordinate engagement across siloed teams and stakeholder groups
• Help reconcile conflicting viewpoints and drive alignment on priorities, assumptions, and next steps
• Support program development activities and deliverables
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams to maintain project progress
• Communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical and domain-expert audiences
• Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely completion of follow-up activities
Education Requirement
• Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or a related field is preferred.
