Full Job Description
Our Small Commercial team is currently seeking a Market Consolidation Consultant to join our growing team. This is a full time, exempt role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Market Consolidation Consultant (MCC) drives operational excellence and strengthens agency partnership by managing the lifecycle of engagement for book consolidation programs. Responsible for independently managing and ensuring success of multiple book consolidations at a time. Additionally, this role leads monitoring of overall performance of the book consolidation performance, and development of remediation plans with field leadership ensuring seamless collaboration, enhanced agency performance, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Independently drive execution and analyze the monthly delivery of Small Commercial consolidations, collaborating with cross functional stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure timely execution and alignment with operational best practices to drive highest conversion rates.
  • Produce structured documentation and develop presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress to internal stakeholders and agency leadership.
  • Through collaboration with stakeholders, ensures all key activities are executed to with timeliness and maximizes premium yield and profitability.
  • Responsible for the overall performance of their assigned consolidations and escalating issues and trends to senior roles in the team
  • Take actions that directly or indirectly influence others to create buy-in, gain trust, and motivate actions in others or win concessions without damaging relationships.
  • Monitors book performance, and steps in when necessary to find the best avenues for improvement or facilitate discussions to end consolidations sooner if a path for improvement is not found.
  • Will present and facilitate some of CL's most important discussions with our largest and most profitable agents. Allowing for a tactful and consultative approach that helps navigate and influence leaders.
  • Ensure agency compliance with application and declaration submission schedules.
  • Responsible for providing professional, timely and accurate responses to our agents and internal field partners through multiple avenues of communication including e-mail, phone, and virtual presentations.
  • Delivers strategic presentations for our agency facing meetings.


WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
  • Typically requires 5+ years of industry experience particularly in sales, underwriting, operations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and manage multiple priorities effectively. High level of accountability within a production environment.

The target hiring range for this role may vary based on geographic location and other factors, including merit or performance, demonstrated proficiency, skills for the role, education, travel requirements, and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus (which could take the form of a general bonus, sales incentive, or short-term incentive), long-term incentive or spot recognition awards. The posted range reflects our ability to hire at different position titles and levels depending on background and experience.
