The role builds and deepens client relationships through proactive outreach, structured discovery, consultative selling, disciplined follow-through, and translation of financial information, cash-flow dynamics, client goals, operating cycle considerations, and risk indicators into practical guidance and solution recommendations.

The role collaborates with branch partners, centers of influence, clients, and other business line partners, maintains relationship ownership and coordination through handoff, decision, follow-up, activation, usage, and demonstrated client value, and balances acquisition, deepening, and service while maintaining strong CRM discipline and responsible banking practices.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing Service registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z and ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Proficient ability to conduct structured discovery conversations that uncover stated and unstated client priorities and frame needs in clear business terms.

  • Ability to interpret basic financial information with occasional guidance, recognize common cash-flow dynamics, and connect client goals to standard solutions.

  • Experience conducting proactive outreach through outbound calling, networking, referral sources, events, centers of influence, pipeline data, and other business development activities.

  • Ability to position core small-business products, services, and digital tools that support growth, efficiency, cash-flow optimization, risk mitigation, and scalability.

  • Ability to engage appropriate partners when revenue, credit, risk, or solution complexity requires additional expertise while preserving a coordinated client experience.

  • Proven ability to build credible, long-term relationships with business owners through follow-through, sound judgment, relationship ownership beyond transactions, and a focus on earning referrals.

  • CRM discipline, pipeline management, responsible banking practices, and working knowledge of applicable banking laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and support systems.
