As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.

You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to maximize functional outcomes and improve quality of life.

Our SLPs are trusted clinical leaders who play a critical role in helping residents regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

SLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:

  • Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing therapy services
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

From Up to Qualifications

SLP: Speech-Language Pathologist:

  • M.A. or M.S. Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved school required.
  • State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association preferred.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
  • Current, valid CPR/BLS credential.
  • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
  • Verification of qualifications by the State Department of Health
  • Rehabilitation Therapies (license number/certification number) required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
