Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen (SKE) is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead the Eastern New England SKE sales team! This role will manage a team of nine Sales Representatives across the district, driving revenue growth, expanding and retaining the customer base, and leading sales performance across assigned branches.

Management Territory: Barre, VT, Salisbury MA, W. Brookfield MA, Marlborough MA and Cranston RI.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Drive revenue and margin growth by leading district sales across the Safety-Kleen specific line of business.
  • Support strategic account sales efforts, achieve sales budget targets, monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop marketing strategies, review P&L performance and implement initiatives to increase cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promoting effective communication and coordination between operations and sales teams to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Resolve customer issues and disputes as needed, support contract and relationship management, assist with collections of outstanding receivables, and complete the monthly Revenue and Receivables Report.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing sales team by identifying, recruiting, and retaining top talent, including Account Managers and Sales Representatives.
  • Manage performance through coaching, performance management meetings, and model and reinforce the organization's core values.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales leadership experience.
  • Environmental services or related industry experience preferred.
  • Strong account planning, relationship management, and customer ownership skills.
  • Financial acumen with the ability to analyze reports and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven success in cross-selling and upselling across multiple lines of business.
