Responsibilities

Peraton requires a Zero Trusts Manager to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM.  This position is located at MacDill AFB in Florida.

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365. 

 

Project Managers perform oversight of planning, execution, and completion of projects in accordance with the SIE OPORD.  

    • Plans, leads, and manages personnel responsible for the organization's portfolio of projects and maintains efficiency of important project management aspects such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment. 
    • Develops and executes against project objectives by collaborating with the customer on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status. 
    • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors. 
    • Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates. 
    • Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.  
    • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. 
    • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.  
    • Controls project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, schedule changes, and recommending actions. 
    • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.  
    • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.  
    • Responsible for technical/operational leadership of a project/mission within the programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.  
    • Defines, generates, and reviews project requirements documentation; performs technical studies to refine project requirements.  
    • Monitors projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

  • Min 12 years with HS degree, 10 years with AS/AA degree, 8 years with BS/BA, 6 years with MS/MA 
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance  
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Prior experience managing IT projects is desired

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
