Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with programming in SQL, PL/SQL or T-SQL.
- 4 years of experience in database administration and relational database development on GCP (technology such Cloud SQL, SQL Server, AlloyDB, Spanner, Oracle, etc.)
- 3 years of experience designing and implementing analytical reports and dashboards.
- 2 years of experience building automation scripts using Python or Terraform.
Preferred qualifications:- Experience designing and implementing high-performing database systems specific to semiconductor manufacturing.
- Practical experience applying AI/ML technologies, particularly Gemini to boost organizational productivity and advance technical excellence.
- Domain knowledge of key semiconductor operations, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Statistical Process Control (SPC), SAP, MRP planning, capacity modeling, demand forecasting, and logistics.
About the jobAs a Site Reliability Engineer, you will drive strategic direction, technical design, and execution for complex database ecosystems supporting semiconductor manufacturing. You will oversee the complete solution lifecycle, encompassing requirements definition, system architecture, development, testing, maintenance, and scalable expansion. In this role, you will lead and design optimized data structures across a wide variety of platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, AlloyDB, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and Vertica. You will solve ambiguous, open-ended technical challenges and establish architectural standards that extend beyond your immediate scope. You will be responsible for applying AI/ML solutions to enhance operational productivity and analytical capabilities such as real-time data analytics and using Terraform for infrastructure automation. Because of specialized facility requirements and the need for close in-person collaboration with engineering partners, this role requires working on-site at least five days per week at the Fremont facility.

- Manage database administration across on-premises systems (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Vertica, PostgreSQL) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments (AlloyDB, Cloud Spanner).

- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership, engineers, program managers, and data scientists to identify and address business and technical requirements.
