ResponsibilitiesThe Site Manager is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating the operations of a local USCIS Field Office. As a Site Manager, your responsibilities would include:
- Managing the Records Operation and timely completion of all deliverables
- Monitoring data entry, mail and file operations, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with the USCIS FOSS Contract
- Planning and coordinating with leadership team, including Supervisors and Quality Control personnel to ensure contractual and operational requirements are met
- Directing, assisting, and providing guidance to contract Supervisors in various functional areas, establishing priorities and reallocating resources as needed to meet goals established by USCIS
- Scheduling contractor staff, approving time off, initiating and implementing disciplinary actions, mentoring staff
- Overseeing hiring process for all on-site staff, including interviewing and hiring decisions
- Preparing and submitting timely and accurate reports to the Sciolex Program Management Office and the government
- Deliverables may include production reports, employee timesheet reports, employee training records and evaluations, inventory of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), incident reports, audit reports, and other documents as necessary or requested
- Participating in meetings with government personnel
- Collaborating with Supervisors to ensure best practices are in place and evaluate/update as needed
- Training new employees, creating training plans
- Creating/updating written standard operating procedures
- Participating in meetings with government personnel
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements- Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience where you led teams of 30+ people
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services
- Ability to read and understand proficiently in English
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment
- Ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
