Position Summary:Advancia Technologies, LLC (a federal government contractor) is looking to hire a
Site Manager who is responsible for overall daily operations and contractor effectiveness and will report directly to the Project Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Supervise the Project Supervisors and Quality Lead and the daily production operations.
- Assist the Project Manager with ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate the collection, compilation, and analysis of contractor activity data.
- Assist the Project Manager with managing site support tasks, such as human resources and interviewing and onboarding of staff.
- Coordinate and work with onsite POCs and communicating with the CO, COR, FRC Director, and the Contractor's staff performing onsite.
- Address and remediate poor performance and disciplinary issues, or failure of staff to meet requirements to include remediation at the site level.
- Develop plans and schedules, oversee quality control, and monitor all site work while authorizing and verifying the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Respond to and implement changes to work products requested by the COR.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control Manager and Quality Assurance Lead to develop corrective and preventative actions.
Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:- Associate's degree or higher.
- NARA records management training.
- Experience operating a pallet jack, order picker, counterbalance, and/or reach and turret truck.
Minimum Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of management experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customer POCs.
- Flexibility to work eight (8) hours a day covering at least two (2) shifts (including the night shift periodically), with different start times on different days throughout the week.
- Skilled in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Office and email.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, sequencing, and knowledge of weights and measurements.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain accuracy of less than one percent error rate for data and/or file operations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Read, write, and communicate using the English language at a level sufficient to perform job functions.
- Valid State Driver's License.
- Ability to meet the security requirements for obtaining a badge (i.e., National Agency Checks with Inquiries).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and employment background check.
- Ability to pass a fit-for-duty test.
- Ability to perform in a labor-intensive environment (see physical demands below).
Working Schedule:Flexibility to work eight (8) hours a day covering at least two (2) shifts (including the night shift periodically), with different start times on different days throughout the week.
Typical hours of operation are Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Physical Job Requirements:- Ability to physically lift boxes which typically weigh 30-50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to carry boxes between 30-50 pounds for distances up to a quarter of a mile within a facility.
- Ability to safely climb and balance on ladders to obtain boxes which can weigh 30-50 pounds, from shelving up to 15 feet high.
- Ability to climb caster equipped ladders and maneuver on catwalks while handling boxes of records, typically weighing 30-50 pounds, which are stored up to 15 feet above the floor, regularly.
- Performance of work regularly requires walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and squatting to reach boxes.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Position requires working long hours on one's feet and walking several miles per day is routine.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus with corrections if necessary.
