Job Location: Kansas City, Kansas



Position Responsibilities:

Apply statistical analysis, modeling, and optimization methods to improve operational efficiency, throughput, labor utilization, and cost performance across fulfillment centers and last-mile logistics networks. Design and execute data-driven strategic initiatives by translating business requirements into program frameworks and multi-year roadmaps focused on supply chain optimization, including fulfillment throughput, capacity planning, transportation flow, and inventory movement. Work with warehouse and fulfillment workflows, sortation, ship dock operations, trailer yard management, transportation logistics, labor planning, and capacity forecasting. Use predictive modeling, simulation, and process analysis to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable improvements. Utilize systems including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SQL-based data environments, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and support decision-making. Conduct analyses including capacity forecasts, labor models, productivity metrics, and ROI evaluations. Work on projects including fulfillment process optimization, transportation and freight flow analysis, throughput and capacity planning, seasonal forecasting, routing optimization, and logistics infrastructure improvements. Support implementation planning, track performance metrics, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives. Maintain governance structures, including standardized reporting and performance tracking, to manage initiative portfolios and support executive decision-making.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration or a related field and seven years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and two years of experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skills: (1) owning program strategy and end to end delivery; (2) using data tools (Excel and Minitab) and metrics to drive improvements; and (3) working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams. Domestic and international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $149,600/year to $202,400/year.
