Summary The Site Manager will:
- be responsible for all operational staff, budget and performance of the following maintenance activities at the site including minor works and projects:
- Operation and Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System, Passenger Boarding Bridges and HVAC Infrastructure including extra works and projects.
- Building Automation System management
- Contract Management.
- Energy Management,
- Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- To effectively manage and develop all services within the site, using standards set by the Company and the contract with the client, and maintaining a close liaison with the client in ensuring day to day requirements of delivering the contract are met.
- To participate in the development of the business in Manchester and at other airports in the US through, membership of the EQUANS airports business unit,
- To be responsible for contractual performance in accordance with agreed budgets, compliance with the performance monitoring systems, and continually enforce cost efficiencies.
Description - Responsible for the budget management and all financial activities for the site.
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance and operation process in coordination with the airport supervisor's and managers.
- Ensures that all administrative and CMMS processes are followed.
- Supervises all EQUANS site personnel: maintenance and operation.
- Executes a meticulous quality inspection by sampling various completed work tasks.
- To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manuals, Guidelines, Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
- Analyzes problematic system situations and proposes possible corrective solutions.
- Informs the EQUANS Area Manager of any useful equipment life information and assists in making decisions.
- Takes necessary decisions and coordinate with the airport supervisors and managers in case of system failure and helps during contingency plan situations.
- The Site Manager is the intermediate between the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport clients and his supervisor.
- Transmits any information/procedures coming from upper management and ensures proper execution.
- Attends meetings with the Airlines/Airport Authority and transmits any requests to his immediate supervisor.
- Initiate and sell new out of scope projects.
- Actively promote EQUANS's services to develop new business opportunities in similar industrial or facility management operation.
- Utilizes, with ease, software's like: Excel, Word, Outlook and other.
- Makes sure that all personnel have received proper training. Follows up on training already given and evaluates the need for further or more advanced training.
- Completes all other tasks required by his immediate supervisor.
Requirements / Qualifications - Is authorized to work in the US.
- Able to qualify at a competency exam.
- Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings per Equans company and airport requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar environment.
- Engineering Degree (Electrical / Mechanical) - Desirable.
- Building Services Diploma - Desirable.
- Trouble shooting and problem-solving experience in a medium to large organization.
- Proven track record in managing a maintenance department in a similar environment.
- On-call; ability to support operations at all times of day or night during emergency situations Computer Literate. Able to utilize with ease Microsoft Office.
- Able to use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g. Maximo, Planon).
- Valid Passport to travel to our Head Office when required.
