Your role
Are you our next Site Manager?

In this role, you will own the day-to-day Atlas Copco presence on-site, acting as a trusted partner to the Tesla team. You'll lead the customer relationship and contract execution while also performing preventative maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, and technical support on Atlas Copco tools and systems. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, technically confident, self-directed, and highly skilled in communication and relationship management.

You will work daily onsite at Tesla in Houston, TX.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Customer & Contract Leadership: Serve as the primary Atlas Copco point of contact at Tesla leading the day-to-day customer relationship and ensuring contract expectations are consistently met.
  • Preventative Maintenance & Calibration: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, calibrations, and inspections on Atlas Copco tools and systems to ensure operational reliability and compliance.
  • On-Site Technical Support: Provide real-time troubleshooting and technical support for tools, systems, and production-related issues.
  • Systems & Data Support: Manage on-site system configurations, data integrity, and basic database interactions to support tool performance and reporting accuracy.
  • Network & Systems Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of support for diagnosing basic network and system issues impacting tooling and production operations.
  • Operational Reliability: Ensure continuous functionality and uptime of Atlas Copco tools and services on the customer site.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based partnerships with Tesla stakeholders through clear communication, responsiveness, and service excellence.
To succeed, you will need
Technical & Mechanical Proficiency:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in industrial equipment, tools, or production systems
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and calibrations
  • Comfort working with technical systems, configurations, and diagnostics
  • Familiarity with data systems and production databases

Industry Knowledge:
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial services, automation, or production environments
  • Experience supporting operational or production-critical systems

Soft Skills:
  • Highly self-sufficient and comfortable working independently on-site
  • Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Service-oriented mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable communication for non-technical stakeholders

Education:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, IT, or a related technical field preferred (or equivalent hands-on experience)
