Full Job Description
The Site HR Partner manages human resources for nearly 300 union and non-union employees at our Winder, GA and Spartanburg, SC sites. This role collaborates with employees, leaders, union representatives, and members of the HR team to support a broad range of HR activities, including talent management and development, employee engagement, performance management, diversity and inclusion, recruitment and selection, HR compliance, training, policy development, labor relations and contract interpretation, and compensation planning. This role reports to the Regional Human Resources Manager - North America.

  • Provide leadership, guidance and/or training to leaders and employees in areas such as talent development, succession, labor relations and organizational planning, team effectiveness, diversity and inclusion and interpretation of policies

  • Foster an environment of employee engagement and promote effective human resources practices to minimize potential liability and risk and further a positive environment.

  • Provide counsel to employees and leadership on conflict resolution, discipline and terminations. Investigate causes of disputes and recommend resolutions and/or corrective action

  • Collaborate with senior management on significant employee relations problems that jeopardize the achievement of company objectives

  • Direct labor relations activities. Participate in Union/Management meetings, grievance discussions, and negotiating contracts and policies, and resolving employee concerns.

  • Protect interests of employees in accordance with human resources policies and appropriate governmental laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

  • Make the business case, gain support for and lead specific HR Programs or initiatives

  • Assist in the development of HR philosophies, approaches and policies to ensure consistent application and equitable implementation

  • Initiate and recommend policies and procedures necessary to achieve the objectives of the organization and ensure maximum utilization and retention of talent

  • Direct annual compensation processes for salaried merit and hourly pay increases by measuring and establishing competitive pay rates

  • Remain aware of the latest trends and legal/regulatory changes affecting HR practices

  • Act as a resource for employees on all Human Resource related topics.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and 7+ years of human resources experience.

  • Thorough knowledge of State and Federal regulations regarding human resources.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and HRIS.

  • Strong verbal and written communications, presentation, facilitation, and customer service skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

  • Effective coaching skills. Strong technical/functional knowledge of HR practices and alignment with business strategy.

  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP Certifications are a plus.

  • Live in close proximity to one of the sites in scope. In addition, live in close proximity to an airport to have the ability to travel to other sites in scope up to 20% of the time.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $112,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations
