Site Head IT - Business Technology MTO

As a Site Head IT - Business Technology MTO supporting IT Surgical Team, you will be trusted to lead technology operations and ensuring IT solutions align with business needs for our manufacturing facility located in Houston, TX. You will lead technology teams, prioritize operations , and ensure successful IT service delivery.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Manage and lead technology projects that drive business efficiency and success
  • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions meet organizational goals and align with business needs
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the technology team for successful project execution, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business requirements
  • Assist in developing business technology strategies that align with broader business goals and strategic business priorities
  • Make operational decisions on project execution, resource allocation, and team management to directly impact the execution of business technology initiatives
  • All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
  • Establishes and maintains the relationship with the business stakeholders by:
  • Aligning the IT priorities with the business plans
  • Acting as an escalation point for the business stakeholders in case of any IT service issues
  • Lead the preparation, obtain agreement and manage the IT budget within the area of responsibility, in collaboration with supply areas
  • Regularly collecting feedback on satisfaction with key IT services
  • Acting as an advisor to the business stakeholders for IT related topics
  • Communication and alignment with business stakeholders on IT compliance activities
  • Providing the link between site business and global service delivery teams
  • Own and drive the transformation activities towards the future state Smart Factory
  • Ensure adoption of Global IT applications and processes within the site
  • Support information governance activities (e.g. audits) at the site
  • Ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures


WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs.; Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
