Full Job Description
The Site Controller ensures the finance function is effective, well controlled, and value-adding, partnering with plant management, the industrial function, and project teams within the Business Unit. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, the role supports the site's financial and operational strategy, maintains strong financial controls, and provides clear insights to non-financial stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.
We count on you:
• Manage product costing and inventory valuation in SAP in line with Group requirements and policies.
• Ensure internal controls are applied and that finance policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and timely balance sheet reconciliations, including inventory controls, fixed asset register maintenance and support for the capital expenditure process.
• Monitor headcount and labor costs using available tools.
• Supports the annual stock count and fixed asset inventories.
• Support insurance data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with internal and external auditors/other external parties as required.
• Support Operations and Plant Managers with periodic standard cost updates (BOM routings/standards) and related reporting.
• Analyze trends and business drivers; work with Operations and other stakeholders to identify root causes and define countermeasures.
• Monitor site performance and explain variances to drive performance improvement.
• Support financial strategy and decision-making for the site/business.
• Provide the Site Leadership Team with relevant financial information to support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and other management cycle requirements.
• Maintain templates and tools for forecasting and budgeting reporting.
• Prepare and deliver performance presentations to site management, providing clear insights and recommendations.
• Lead the analysis, validation, and reporting of business information, including proposals to support decision-making.
• Execute month-end close activities, coordinating with the service center on required SAP entries, especially those impacting FI/CO reporting.
• Ensure timely submission of site results and high-quality variance commentary for variable and fixed costs, including yield and consumption variances.
• Monitor inventory-related impacts (e.g., slow-moving/obsolete inventory reserves).
• Support GBU projects and restructuring plans in line with Business Unit needs.
You will bring:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 8+ years of controlling experience, ideally in a manufacturing/site environment.
• Strong communication skills, able to engage effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Collaborative, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, actionable priorities.
• Ability to anticipate trends and translate them into forward-looking insights.
• Continuous improvement mindset with strong business partnering and constructive challenge capability.

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $100,000 to $140,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
