Mechanical trade + supervision

About the role

Ready to step up and lead? We're after a hands-on Simulator Assembly Supervisor to run our mechanical assembly team and keep production moving safely, smoothly, and to a top-quality standard.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll run the day-to-day on the workshop floor - organising the team, sorting out problems as they come up, and making sure the team hits their production, quality, and safety targets. Just as importantly, you'll coach and back your team, share what you know, and help build a workshop where people are proud of what they turn out.

If you know your way around a workshop and you're the type people naturally look to, this one's for you.

What you'll be doing
  • Leading the team to hit production schedules and get product out the door on time.
  • Running the floor day-to-day, keeping safety, quality, and efficiency front and centre.
  • Training and mentoring your team so they grow their skills and confidence.
  • Finding better ways to work - driving improvements that lift quality and productivity.
  • Checking the work through quality inspections and sorting out manufacturing issues with Engineering and other teams.
  • Planning ahead - helping with resourcing, rosters, and production reporting.
  • Keeping it safe - building solid work procedures, assembly instructions, and quality documentation, and making sure we meet WHS laws and company standards.

What you'll bring
  • A trade qualification (mechanical) and experience supervising in a workshop or production setting.
  • Strong leadership - you can organise a team and get the best out of people.
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle priorities without dropping the ball.
  • A genuine commitment to safety, teamwork, and always improving.
  • Pride in delivering quality work, every time.

Why join us

You'll be building genuinely world-class technology, working with a skilled team who take pride in their trade, and earning a competitive package with a business that backs its people. This is a chance to grow your leadership career while staying close to the tools and the work you know.

Sound like you?

Hit Apply and send through your resume. We'd love to hear from you.
