About the team The 3D Simulation Team, as part of the broader Process Engineering organization, leverages virtual modeling capabilities to validate and optimize manufacturing decisions before physical implementation. While the Process Engineering Team focuses on developing assembly processes, providing DFA feedback, writing work instructions, and managing tools and equipment for our AR factories, our simulation team complements these efforts through advanced plant and process simulation. We deliver a wide range of solutions - from conducting virtual builds and ergonomic assessments to performing capacity analyses and production layout optimization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience - Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis - Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent - Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering - Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time - 3+ years of working in simulation engineering or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field - Experience with simulation software in a manufacturing environment PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools - Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume - Experience with CAD modelling software, such as Solidworks or MATLAB - Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related field - Experience with Tecnomatix Plant Simulation or similar discrete event simulation software - Experience with Process Simulate or similar 3D manufacturing simulation tools - Knowledge of robotics manufacturing processes and automation systems - Experience with ergonomic analysis and safety validation - Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, or similar) - Background in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies - Experience with virtual commissioning or digital twin implementations - Track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment The base salary range for this position is listed below.
