This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of SIGDEV Analysts, Systems Engineers, Junior Engineers, Telecommunication Technical Analysts and System Administrators, responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of multi-level Enterprise IT environment.
Job Description:- Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI and other advanced technologies over IP. To be considered for this position, you must understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission essential office and be able to support varying schedules at times to ensure mission coverage. We do our best to schedule around individual preferences, however candidates must be flexible with their schedule. Shifts range from day shift ([redacted]), swing shift ([redacted]) and mid shift ([redacted]) including weekends and holidays.
The Level 1 SIGDEV Analyst shall possess the following capabilities:- Critical thinking and reasoning to make analytic determinations.
- Knowledge of various technologies and/or topics to identify analytic vectors.
- Experience in the principles and methods of exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate SIGINT information in accordance with established requirements and priorities.
- Experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with SIGINT target development.
- Ability to develop techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, or presenting information.
- Familiarization with SIGINT and collateral report repositories and ability to demonstrate the incorporation of independent research to enhance target development.
- Ability to identify target communications within the global network.
Qualifications:- At least three (3) years demonstrated experience in and demonstrated knowledge in SIGINT development analytic support.
- Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.
- Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line.
- FORNSAT experience is required.
- Front-end collection systems, to include survey systems.
- DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration.
- Basic troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.
- Familiarity with commercial SATCOM technologies.
- Desired Skills:
- Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450).
- Intermediate Communications Signals Analysis Course (451).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Shell and/or Python).
- Familiarity with Apache NiFi.
- Basic knowledge of network protocols.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate PolygraphPay Range: 96,000-138,000
